Create your own little porcupine in just a few hours! This super simple pattern includes one PDF file with detailed instructions and pictures on how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this porcupine.
Only basic crocheting skills will be needed to make this pattern: chain, single crochet, increasing and decreasing.
Materials You Will Need:
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Medium worsted weight (size 4) yarn: tan and brown plus 1 strand of black for the nose
(Note: the yarn I used was Lion Brand’s Heartland Yarn in “Mammoth Cave” and “Grand Canyon”)
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes*
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• An amigurumi brush (a pet slicker brush works perfectly too) for brushing out the quills
*Safety eyes can be found on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, or your local craft store. The safety eyes are highly recommended, but they can be substituted with black buttons or yarn if you prefer.
Final measurement for the finished porcupine will be 8 inches (or 20 cm) tall.
