Here are the materials you will need for each of these patterns:
ANGELFISH
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: white, black, and yellow
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• One strand of black embroidery floss
Final measurement for the finished angelfish will be 4.25 inches (or 10.75 cm) long and 3.25 inches (8.25 cm) tall.
BETTA FISH
• Crochet hook size: 3.5mm
• Medium/worsted/aran weight yarn: blue, plus 1 strand of white for the eye detail
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
Final measurement for the finished betta fish is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) long and 4 inches (10 cm) tall.
BLOBFISH
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted/medium weight yarn: Pink, dark pink, and one strand of white
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
Final measurement for the larger finished blobfish will be 5.5 inches (14 cm) long and 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall. Final measurement for the smaller finished blobfish will be 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) long and 2.75 inches (7 cm) tall.
BLUE TANG
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: Royal blue, black, yellow, and one strand of white
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• Black embroidery floss
Final measurement for the finished blue tang will be 4.75 inches (12 cm) long and 3.25 inches (8.25 cm) tall.
BUTTERFLY FISH
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: White and yellow
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes*
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• One strand of black embroidery floss
Final measurement for the finished butterfly fish will be 5 inches (or 13 cm) long and 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall.
CLOWNFISH
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: orange, black, and white
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• One strand of black embroidery floss for the smile
Final measurement for the finished clownfish will be 4.25 inches (10.75 cm) long and 2.75 inches (7 cm) tall.
GOLDFISH
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: gold (50 yards/45 meters needed), plus 1 strand of white
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• One strand of black embroidery floss
Final measurement for the finished goldfish will be 5.5 inches (14 cm) long and 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall.
KOI
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: white, dark orange or red*
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• One strand of black embroidery floss for the smile
*Note: I used Impeccable Loops & Threads in “White” and “Orange Crush.”
Final measurement for the finished koi fish will be 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) long and 3 inches (7.75 cm) tall.
PUFFER FISH
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm and 3.5mm (for the spikes)
• Worsted/medium weight (4-ply) yarn: gold, white, and light gray (for the mouth)
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• Black embroidery floss (for the eyebrows)
Final measurement for the finished pufferfish will be 3.5 inches (or 9 cm) tall.
RAINBOW TROUT
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: speckled green*, coral, and light gray, plus 1 strand of white
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• One strand of black embroidery floss
*For the main speckled color, I used Impeccable Speckle Yarn by Loops & Threads in “Soft Jade.”
Final measurement for the finished rainbow trout will be 5.25 inches (13.33 cm) long and 3 inches (7.62 cm) tall.
YELLOW TANG
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Worsted weight yarn: Yellow
• Yarn needle
