Crochet your own koala and his blanket in just a couple hours with this easy crochet pattern! This pattern includes 1 PDF file loaded with progress pictures, as well as detailed instructions and video tips for how to assemble the koala.
The following stitches are used in this pattern: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet stitch, increase stitch, and single crochet decrease stitch (these last 2 stitches are explained in the pattern).
Materials you will need:
• Crochet hook size: 5 mm, 8 mm (optional, for blanket accessory)
• #6 super bulky weight yarn: gray (100 yds/92 m needed), dark gray (10 yds/10 m needed), and white (20 yds/19 m needed), optional: green, for blanket accessory (50 yds/46 m needed)
• #4 medium worsted weight yarn: 1 strand of white and 1 strand of black (for the eye detail)
• 1 strand of black embroidery floss (for the eyebrows; black yarn can also be used)
• Yarn needle
• 18mm black safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing

When made with a 5 mm hook and #6 super bulky weight yarn, final measurement for the finished koala is 6 inches/15.25 cm tall.
