The color options are endless with this easy-to-follow pattern which includes detailed instructions, progress pictures, and video tips on how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this low-sew chameleon. There is also an option to add a party blower for a "tongue" for the chameleon!
The following crochet stitches are used in this pattern: chain, single crochet, single crochet decrease stitch, and slip stitch.
Materials you will need:
• Crochet hook size: 5 mm
• #6 super bulky weight yarn: green (1.1 oz/45 yds/45 m needed), white (0.1 oz/5 yds/5 m needed), plus 1 strand of a contrasting color for freckles (optional)
• 15 mm black safety eyes (14 mm or 16 mm will also work well)
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker, scissors
• Optional: a party blower
Depending on the exact yarn brand used, the finished chameleon will be approximately 8 in/20 cm long and 3 in/8 cm tall.
