This 3-pattern pack includes the patterns for a triceratops, pterodactyl, and t-rex. These patterns can be made as written with any yarn weight. After purchase, all 3 patterns will be available as separate digital PDFs to download. Each pattern includes detailed instructions and video tips on how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make these dinosaur friends!
Only basic crocheting skills will be needed: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increasing and decreasing.
Here are the materials you will need for each pattern:
PTERODACTYL
• Crochet hook size: 5mm
• #6 super bulky weight yarn: purple and dark purple, plus 1 strand of light pink for the cheeks
• Yarn needle
• 1 pair of 18mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• Scissors
Final measurement for the finished pterodactyl is 8 inches/20.32 cm tall.
T-REX
• Crochet hook size: H/5 mm
• #6 super bulky weight yarn: green (130 yards/120 meters*) and a few yards/meters of white (for the embroidered details)
• 1 pair of 18 mm black safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• Yarn needle and scissors
*Exact yardage will depend on the yarn brand and hook size you choose; I used Parfait Chunky yarn in color “Goblin”
Final measurement for the finished T-Rex is 9 in/23 cm tall.
TRICERATOPS
• Crochet hook size: H/5 mm
• #6 super bulky weight yarn: brown and cream (or other colors of your choice)
• #4 medium weight yarn: 1 strand of black for the smile
• 1 pair of 18 mm black safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• Yarn needle and scissors
• Sewing needle and thread (optional – for securing yarn ends on the head frill if you are not using a yarn that sheds)
Final measurement for the finished triceratops is 7 inches/18 cm tall.
