Meet Percival the Peacock! This easy-to-follow pattern includes one PDF file with detailed instructions and lots of pictures on how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this peacock.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Only basic crocheting skills will be needed: chain, single crochet, double crochet, increasing and decreasing.
Materials You Will Need:
• Crochet hook size: G/4.00mm and F/3.75mm for the tail feathers
• Worsted weight yarn: royal blue, yellow, white, light blue, green, and one strand of black (for the eye stripes)*
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes**
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
*Note: For my peacock, I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn in “Royal” (blue), “Saffron” (yellow), “Light Blue,” “Tea Leaf” (green), and black.
**Note: Safety eyes can be found on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, or your local craft store. The safety eyes are highly recommended, but they can be substituted with black buttons or yarn if you prefer.
Final measurement for the finished peacock will be 9 inches (23 cm) tall.
