Create your own little parrot in just a few hours! This simple pattern includes one PDF file with detailed instructions and pictures for how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this parrot.
Only basic crocheting skills will be needed to make this pattern: chain, single crochet, increasing and decreasing.
Materials You Will Need:
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• Medium weight (4) yarn: red, dark gray, yellow and blue – or other colors of your choice*
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes**
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• Black embroidery floss (optional – for the eyebrows); black yarn can also be used
*The colors and color changes in this pattern are for the red, yellow and blue parrot pictured on the front of the pattern. Of course feel free to modify these colors to make your own unique parrot!
**Safety eyes can be found on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, or your local craft store. The safety eyes are highly recommended, but they can be substituted with black buttons or yarn if you prefer.
Final measurement for the finished parrot will be 6 inches (or 15 cm) tall.
